At Hilsea Lido, our surveying team played a pivotal role in one of Portsmouth’s most exciting heritage regeneration projects.

Working in collaboration with Woodmace, we supported the construction and restoration of the historic outdoor swimming pool, ensuring precision and efficiency at every stage. Our contribution included:

• Precision Site Surveying: Conducted detailed topographic and boundary surveys to establish accurate site conditions before construction began.

• Structural Alignment & Control: Assisted contractors with layout checks and control points, ensuring critical elements like pool edges, drainage systems, and walkways aligned precisely with design plans.

• Bonus—Heritage-Sensitive Methodology: Using non-intrusive techniques, we managed to maintain the site’s heritage integrity while delivering modern engineering accuracy.
